"Printmaking provides both an inspiration in itself, and a means of expression. The energies and forms of the natural world are the starting point for much of my work There is a constant recurrence of visual motifs and symbols, associated with the mythic cycles of nature and life."

"Contrast is a recurring element in my work and I am always exploring different processes and developing new themes, albeit with an underlying coherence derived from the inspiration of living in Wales. My narrative imagery and detailed miniature prints are satisfyingly different to the open spaciousness I seek in my abstract work."
