Iwan
Bala is an artist and writer born in north Wales and based
in Cardiff. He has taught on the M.A. Fine Art course at the
University of Wales Institute, Cardiff and introduced and compiled
"Certain Welsh Artists Custodial aesthetics in contemporary
Welsh art", published by Seren in 1999. He was awarded
the Gold Medal for Fine Art at the National Eisteddfod of Wales
in 1997. His work has been exhibited widely at home and abroad
and features in many public and private collections.

Artist,
writer, theorist, Iwan Bala is a positive and dynamic figure
on the Welsh cultural scene. He has been involved in numerous
cross-media collaborations and has exhibited internationally;
his work is held in many private collections in the UK and abroad.
