Close
Up
Robert
Newell uses meticulous drawing techniques which, although
attentive to detail, are extremely expressive. Watercolour
and gouache are combined to create varying degrees of luminosity.
We recommend
a personal viewing of Rob Newell's work. His skill and attention
to detail cannot be appreciated fully via the web. Rob's work
commands admiration, each painting taking up to 12 months
to complete.
DO
NOT MISS THIS SHOW... to get a rare glimpse at the work of
Robert Newell, in a solo exhibition, visit the Brecon Museum
Gallery between the 15th of November 2003 and 10th of January
2004.
All
works are landscapes in and around Rob's home of Ammanford
and Carreg Goch (above Dan-yr-Ogof Caves in the
Swansea Valley).
